In the 2024–2025 school year, the Francesco Vivona Comprehensive Institute received an important European recognition by being awarded an Erasmus+ grant for the implementation of the KA210 Small-Scale Partnership project titled “Time to Transform with Modern Education.”
The project, coordinated by our school, involves partner schools from Portugal and Turkey, creating a valuable opportunity for intercultural exchange and international collaboration. The first online activity is the official logo competition: to kick off the project, an international creative competition will be held involving students from all three partner countries. Participants will be invited to create drawings and graphic works that represent the core values of the project, with the goal of selecting the official project logo. In November 2025 there will be the first mobility activity of the project, which will take place at the Francesco Vivona Comprehensive Institute. During this event, foreign students and teachers will be welcomed at our school to: officially startthe project, jointly define the dates of the upcoming mobility exchanges, finalize the details of the educational and training activities to be carried out throughout the project. This meeting will serve as a valuable opportunity for teachers to exchange ideas and good practices, discuss innovative teaching methods, and ensure that the learning experience is engaging, inclusive, and high-quality for all students involved.
Thanks to “Time to Transform with Modern Education” project, our school reaffirms its commitment to educational innovation, inclusion, and internationalization, offering students and teachers new opportunities for growth through collaborative and intercultural experiences. This initiative is not just an educational project — it is a bridge towards a more connected, modern, and united European school community.
